| Colorado | Bruce McRae | From Golden, CO Bruce McRae resides in Golden, Colorado, and he and his wife Judy have been involved in Clan MacRae activities for over a decade. They also host tours to Scotland for the Society. Bruce traces his ancestry back to Farquhar McRae who arrived in North Carolina (Anson County) in the 1780s. Farquhar was born in Kintail and was the great grandson of Alexander of Inverinate. |

| Texas | Ebby Darden | Ebby, a native Dallas Texan is active representing Clan MacRae Society at the Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games held annually at Arlington, TX. She traces her MacRae lineage to Daniel D. Macrae, born in 1746 in Scotland and who immigrated to Virginia in the 1760's. She is chairperson of the Tartan Day committee of the Scottish Society of Dallas. She is an active member of the Sanctuary Choir of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, and she advises and assists here church on the annual Kirkin' O the Tartan service and the Highlander concert held in October. | ![]() |
