CLAN TENTS at Festivals and Games Many times I get emails from our members asking "how come there wasn't a MacRae Clan Tent" at a festival they just attended. The Clan Tents at festivals and games are hosted by individual members of our Society who generously donate their time to representing our Society at these events. The following article appeared in our April 2011 Newsletter Sgurr Uaran: Equipment for Clan Tents As we all know, clan tents at the games are a major instrument for developing interest and finding new members. Those who maintain these tents and represent our Society are turly the backbone of our group.
To aid in getting started, the Clan MacRae Society maintains starter kits for clan tents. For $60.00, you get a clan name banner for the tent, some posters about Eilean Donan Castle, a notebook with a history of the Clan MacRae, a guest registration book, membership applications and several other items. Advice in free.
